Fun surf this weekend, and it doesn't look like it's gonna stop! Hopefully you can get out and enjoy the dumpy windchop. There were some lines out there if you looked. A LOT of right to be had, especially Saturday.
Rips were crazy this weekend. You could see them pretty easy with the blue water and the brown rips. Pretty fast-moving. A few guys got caught in one late Sunday at flagpole. Quick acting surfers saved two of them but the last guy didn't make it. He was 25 years old.
My Prayers go out for his family.

Great job to those surfers who saved two peoples lives. It could've been worst if it wasn't for you. You should be proud. We all need to keep an eye out for others when we're out there.
The Forecast
Monday-Tuesday: Continued windchop with east winds 20-25kts. The good thing is the drift isn't all that bad because of the straight east winds. At least where I was on Palm Beach. It may even be a tad bigger Monday with the wind increasing just a smidge.
Upcoast an underlying groundswell will start showing up thanks to the persistant easterly winds and a long fetch out to sea. Could get pretty good once the winds dies down because the swell will stay up.
Wednesday: Wind turns more ESE or even SE and slacks off a bit. Still rideable though, just not as big. Probably around waist-high in the Palm Beaches.
Upcoast could be fun with lighter winds and more groundswell, especially in the mornings.
Thursday-Friday: Wind dies down a bit . Still some rideable waves though at waist-high.
SUNFEST in full swing! Stop by the WPTV booth, I'll be there Saturday from 7-9pm.
Upcoast: Friday has the lightest winds, but the swell is smallest. Still rideable and I'm sure you could find a rippable fun wave at the standout Treasure Coast spots.
Here are a few pictures I (and my girl) took this weekend on Palm Beach.
